Replacing an S4U 16K with better option
Not sure why anyone would use that plastic crap they send with the printer. Mine goes straight in the bin whenever I get a new S4U and I have 4. I printed a hanging bracket and I hang my plate to drip inside it without taking the plate off completely. The printer has a like a lip under the screen to

When did this become reality!?
The dual color/material is just one configuration of the printer. You can also use it with 1 large vat and 1 large build plate. Then it makes a lot more sense. There is also nothing stopping other brands of releasing an aftermarket split vat / build plate. https://store.anycubic.com/pages/photon-p1-

The door to Pro is ready to open | Jupiter 2 coming on April 15
That was my guess too, until the Anycubic P1 Max $900 pre-order. We know the J2 has a funky FEP quick swap system, but Anycubic have been dialing in their force sensors for a while now - and apparently have been cooking with the P1 Max, so the J2 has its work cut out if it only offers better FEP swa

Help deciding on resin printer as of 2026
P1 and s4u16k side by side in my garage right now. P1 wins. With some caveats. I'm gonna post a comparison at some point. Build quality, build plate, vat, heating system, door, all better than the ultra. I got the p1 for 550 and the 16k for 500. It's worth the 50 bucks to me. This is saying somethin

Testing the Anycubic Kobra X for 2 weeks (PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA) – first impressions
The Kobra X doesn't move around. It feels fairly substantial to me, and you'd really have to push speeds that frankly bedslingers aren't capable of to get it to wobble like that. I've had mine for maybe about 2 weeks now and I love it. No bed issues, no Clogging, amazing! Top finish and overall the

H2C overkill for a first “serious” printer?
Anycubic has some new kobras that are suppose to be more efficient on waste and faster. Waiting for them to arrive. I have 2 H2Cs (we sell a lot and run about 30 printers). I love them. The waste saved and leaving my prices as is, so I will have a higher markup, will have them pay for themselves qui

Anyone using a Form 4 for production?
Good info. So the only reason I accepted the Form 3Ls (of which I'm only using one, and has been spectacular), is because it came with a out 20-25L of expired clear resin. I've had to manually ream the rubber bite valves that were fused shut with old resin, but it's been printing perfectly. If you c

Printers for the lazy beginner
You're the kind of person I'd recommend the Kobra S1 for: someone with a fair amount of experience with printers, who can fix problems without a ton of hand-holding and can deal with less-than-stellar software and quirks. It can output great prints, with some effort, as long as you don't get a lemon

Thinking about getting the Mono M7 pro, what resin and settings should I be using for best quality?
it's meh. the heater only heats at the beginning - so if the print is more than an hour, it's useless. the pump is kind of a joke - but it works if you fiddle with it and tilt the printer back when it is removing resin. the firmware was never updated - so there's no telemetry (it could work with tel

New to resin printing, is the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K a good first choice?
My suggestion would be the Anycubic Photon P1! Straight out of the box flawless printing! Water washable 2.0 resin
