What e-reader are you rocking, and what do you like about it?

I upgraded last year to the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition (12th generation), and I'm loving it so far. I previously had the Kindle Oasis (9th generation) that I used heavily from 2017-2025. While I miss the Oasis's buttons and slimmer form factor, the Paperwhite has three things that I'm findi

What’s your favorite e-Reader and why?

Kindle paperwhite signature. I like the wireless charging, and am deep into the indie authors that publish only on Amazon. I have so many books by them that a new brand would have to be utterly amazing for me to switch ecosystems.

Kobo Libra Colour vs Kindle Colorsoft – Which would you keep?

I don’t have a Colorsoft but I’ve used the Paperwhite Signature edition every day for a year and just switched over to the Libra Color and I much prefer the KLC. My only complaint about the KLC is that the screen is not flush against the bezel and the screen is maybe a little too easy to scratch wit

Can someone convince me not to get a kobo libra?????

I was you for the past few months. I have an 11th gen paperwhite signature. But wanted a better physical experience. I wanted page turning buttons and freedom from Amazon especially after the DRM changes last year. So for Mother’s Day I ordered a kobo libra colour. I even got the stylus. After three

For people with e-readers, how long have you had one and how consistently do you use it?

I was so against getting one until I had newborns and needed something one handed to keep me awake with light. Now I can’t go back. I have used it daily for 10 years now. I read upwards of 100 books a year. I still will read an occasional book if it isn’t on KU and cheaper to just purchase. I prefer

First ereader - Kobo Clara or Kindle Paperwhite? Help!

I purchased the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition used. I read on it for about a month before I realized it had heavy battery drain (looking back, it was just a one time thing due to loading books onto the device). Immediately sold it and bought a Libra Color, used it about a year or so. Fantastic

Kindle PPW to Kobo Libra Colour?

I have the kindle paperwhite signature and love it. The screen is super clear and responsive. I haven’t had any issues with it. The battery is also great! I only charge it once every few weeks and I read all the time. The times I’ve gone weeks without reading, it will still be charged when I come ba

Switch from phone to e-reader?

The only think i wish I was aware of first- most of the people I talk to only need to charge their kindle once a week to once a month. I have to charge it every 2-3 days because I read so much. Its 30-35hrs of read time per charge. Just something to keep in mind. Keeping it in airplane mode helps. [

Please help me decide and answer a few questions?

I have the Boox Go Color 7 Gen 2 so I can answer a few of the questions. The Go 7 came out at the same time so it's the black/white version of the go color 7 gen 2. Both can use a usi 2.0 stylus. Both have Android 13. The battery life isn't as good as a dedicated ereader only (think Kindle), but bet
