Tablet for Toddler for Long Car Rides [on]

I actually really like the Amazon one. We have the fire 10 for little kids and have the parent app, we are able to see what apps she has opened how much time was on it, set up daily screen times and disable it from our phone, once it’s all set up most things work off of wifi, with Netflix or Disney

Tablet for Toddler for Long Car Rides [on]

We got the Amazon fire tablet and like it (exactly for this reason). You can download shows off Netflix or Amazon, or load downloaded files from your computer. Long car rides used to suck, now they are (mostly) pleasant. This is the only time she gets the tablet, though we do watch low-stim TV toget

The big “T”

I got my kid the cheapest samsung tablet they sold at target and a thick case off amazon. The fire tablet was jam packes with content with poor parental controls. I would recommend you look at screen replacement for whatever tablet you pick. I've replaced the screen once and it was not hard, but som

Tablet for Toddler for Long Car Rides [on]

We have the Amazon fire tablet. It goes on sale fairly often and works well for this purpose. We have it in a case that feels secure and use rock climbing carabiners to attach it to the head rest. It's not going to be passing any safety tests or anything but it seems a bit safer than just being loos

What do y'all really need an iPad for?

I think we introduced a tablet around 4 years old. Primarily for trips (plane and car rides). We never did the iPad, but rather a Fire Tablet with an AmazonKids account. It basically locks it down so they can only access learning game apps. No youtube, no open internet, no roblox. I wont lie and I'l

Recommendations for a tablet that doesn't do this

Just get an S9 FE or S10 FE for around $200-$400 on back market and get an otterbox style case there's lots of them that look like kids style and have a kickstand/handle also.. plus samsung kids will provide all kinds of app/time restrictions monitor usage and have safe kids content if you want to k

Unlimited everything in hole.io

I just came here a year on to join this little "I nearly had a mini heart attack" club. Relieved to see that it's actually free based on what others have said! I'm pretty tech-savvy yet I can't for the life of me find any little toggles for turning off ALL in-app purchases on the Fire HD 10 Kids ver

Can no longer watch offline in car

We have a Fire HD 10 Kids tablet that we purchased a year ago. Recently my son managed to turn on airplane mode and then lock it with parental controls. I didn't remember the password so had to reset it to factory defaults.

Now since resetting it we are unable to have him watch downloaded prime vid

Debating between fire hd 10 vs fire hd 10 KIDS. Questions about usability, speed, and warranty.

Debating between Fire HD 10 tablet vs the Fire HD 10 kids. The appeal for the kids is the 2 year no questions warranty and possibly no in app purchases/advertisements? I'm worried that even with a "parent" profile, the kids version will feel slower because of software bloat. The other option is to d

Sideloading Apps on Kids Kindle Fire Tablet (Updated for 2024)

I don't understand where to download this. Are you side-loading it? Are you installing it on the parent profile? I can't figure it out. Could you give more detailed instructions? No matter what I do, I can't seem to get side-loaded apps to be viewable on my kid's Fire 10 HD. I'm literally just tryin
