Amazon Warranty for Kids Fire Tablet

I got them to do a replacement, but nowhere did it say on there it would be a refurbished one. So I was quite surprised when it was delivered and it showed refurbished. I reached out and told them I wasn’t interested in refurbished as it wasn’t clearly advertised that’s what I would get so they ende

What do y'all really need an iPad for?

We were bestowed upon with an Amazon Fire tablet that came with a kids case. I was resistant but hey it’s free. We only use it on long car trips. That thing SUUUUUUCKS it has to stop and think for 10 seconds every time you tap it. Every time I use it, I’m tempted to buy a cheap iPad, and then I reme

What’s off about this?

I was an Amazon Fire tablet rep for a while and they wanted me to test and use other brands every store I went to so I could find differences and highlight why the fire tablet was better. Spoiler: the Fire tablets were never better unless it was up against a terrible Chinese android tablet using anc

I’m at my wits end

Buy two Amazon kids fire tablet for her room and one for you. You can the use the video chat feature to show her you're right there. Been doing this for over a year now with our male Gumbrella and it truly helps. It never ceases to amaze me how aware they are that you're on the other side of the tab

My interface got too small and can't be made any bigger.

I had the same issue. After updating, everything became very small. I found an 'extra large UI' option in the video settings and disabled it. Three options below it then became active (they weren’t before). I chose 167%, saved the settings. Voilá! Now the GUI is large again, just like before! Highly

iPad vs fire thing?

Don't get the Fire tablet. I have used almost all versions of them (atleast every 2 years) since the first version. Its dead cheap to upgrade them during the sale events. anyways, they completely dropped the amazon app store (for phones). Not sure if the apps are getting updated regularly for tablet

Tablet to watch TV in van

I have a 24" computer monitor with speakers that runs on 12v so can use RV 12v source. Plug a Firestick into the monitor HDMI port and you have huge viewing selection. A bluetooth mini keyboard with trackpad makes a great remote. All inexpensive on Amazon and used v little power. Another option is 1

Samsung EVO 256GB not working as internal storage

Something is really puzzling me.

I have a Samsung EVO 256GB SD card, which can be formatted perfectly fine as portable storage for the Amazon Fire HD 10 (Kids). After formatted, it shows that I have 256GB available.

However I'd like to use it as internal storage. But when I format it as such, the
