Gen 6 that is supposedly coming this year has just 300 more peak brightness and 100 more at true black settings? I have both. Pros and cons 4k is more demanding but also you'll notice the black levels are better on the aw3423dw the gamma is different on the 32. Also you'll need more distance between yourself and the monitor itsa good amount taller. I'd say you can get it and try it out and if you don't like it

I don't think so. I have a G-Sync ultimate screen (AW3423DW), and Gsync was working down to ~30fps with no frame doubling with a 6900xt. No problem with HDR either, everything was fine. Only reason I changed to Nvidia was power (4090)

No it's probably fine for most people, but an oled should be able to do better. The near black detail was at about the same level as the 27R83U I had. Although if you want a monitor with this format I'd highly recommend an Alienware AW3423DW/AW3423DWF instead.
