For those who have purchased an OLED monitor, do you regret it or would you recommend it?
I bought the aw3423dw when it first came out, $1300, still using it today and no visible burn in. I think if you want some peace of mind, get the newest gen QD-OLED panel (is it on 4th gen now?) from a vendor with a 3 year warranty and enjoy the incredible boost in visuals for all content. The only

OLED monitor recommendation
Damn that's a solid build, the 9800x3d is gonna crush souls games For OLED I'd say look at the LG C2/C3 42" if you want the best bang for buck - can usually find them on sale and they're perfect for single player games. If you want something more monitor-sized the Alienware AW3423DW is still great b

Asus rog xg mobile 2025 available on excaliburpc.com in US
Works great with my Legion Go but is stupid expensive. :) I haven't really benched it but CP2077 played buttery smooth on it on my Dell AW3423DW monitor at maxed settings 1440p.

Any OLED with less noticable flicker than MSI MPG 341CQPX?
Yea, Asus anti flicker is basically turning off vrr below a specific refresh rate, so it doesn't go into flicker range. You can do the same on most screens with CRU. It also helps a bit on MSI but it's still too much for me. The AW3423DW is the only display with an gsync ultimate module and rtings s

OLED monitor - to buy now or not to buy now?
Prices are already down on OLEDs. I bought my AW3423DW in 2022 for $1400, the newest model is only $750 right now and has a higher refresh rate and better panel.

Are these the ports for the Samsung Odyssey G8?
No it's probably fine for most people, but an oled should be able to do better. The near black detail was at about the same level as the 27R83U I had. Although if you want a monitor with this format I'd highly recommend an Alienware AW3423DW/AW3423DWF instead.

Treating myself when taxes hit. oled really worth the extra cash?
got the AW3423DW a month ago for $500 from Amazon. It was $450 from Dell for black friday and partner discount. This is one of my favorite purchases in my life. It's on par with my first graphics card.

Upgraded from 3070 to 5070 don’t think the performance is worth it. 5 years of technological advancement and 2 generations ahead for an extra 32fps.
I play on an AW3423DW. Went from a 3080/3800x > 5080/9800x3D in the last month. It runs way better like 2x on some games like COD, LoL, OW, and some other games. I personally feel my enjoyment factor went up 5% which imo it’s not worth it. If it wasn’t a special edition PC I probably wouldn’t have u

Remember when everyone said they only wanted raster and didn’t care about upscalers?
Look into a 42 inch lg c series oled. Works great as a monitor though it is a bit big but not too bad tbh. I got it new for $800 so a used one today should be way less. I have a 3090 and when I can't get at least 100 fps on the 4k 120hz tv, I'll switch to a 3440x1440p aw3423dw qd oled. I mention thi

Gaming monitor for WOW
I have the Alienware AW3423DW monitor and this thing fucks. It's more expensive than the ones you linked, but if you're gonna save for one that'll really impress him, I'd get this one. It's usually on sale, too. I got mine for like $500 at Micro Center last year. I think its MSRP is around $700. It'
