195cm & 97Kg

At 195 cm/97 kg, you need a tall back with a proper headrest. HON Ignition 2.0 Big & Tall is solid and under $400, or Alera Elusion Big & Tall if you want cheaper. Skip most cheap gaming chairs — they break fast.

Mods, can we Automate Office Chair requests?

My $150 Alera Elusion (Staples) is 11 years old. Padding, controls, hydraulics are still 100%.I recently bought a second one for home and the build quality is still the same. I recommend this chair to everyone who doesn't want to spend over $400.

Hobby Chair Recs

I’d recommend the Alera Elusion Series Mesh. I sit in an office chair for 10+ hours a day for work and have had this chair for almost 10 years. As comfortable as a Herman Miller, a fraction of the cost.

It also leans back a bit for better circulation and the mesh keeps you cool. Definitely worth a look if

Office chair recommendations for guitar players?

I get the seat‑edge issue too – it’s a pain when you’re shifting around the guitar. Look for a chair with a rounded front edge and mesh back so it breathes. I’ve been using the Alera Elusion Series Mesh Mid‑Back Multifunction Chair; it’s got a nicely contoured seat, decent lumbar support and stays c

Is there any ergonomic office chair with forward tilt of backrest?

For 10 years I've used an Alera Elusion office chair I got at amazon. It has a forward tilt mechanism that cants the seat slightly forward. Note that the whole seat cusion/seat back tilts forward as one unit. I LOVE that feature. Like I said - 10 years, 10+ hours a day every single working day in th
