Air filters for train?
If you’re sitting in coach and not in a private sleeper room, I recommend a laminar air purifier like the AirFanta 4Lite. It doesn’t clean the air in the entire room, but it delivers a stream of filtered air directly in front of the unit. If you position your face directly in front of it (recommende

all the preventative tech?
I like them a lot! I have the AirFanta 4Lite and to me the logic is that it is asking a lot for a little air purifier to tackle entire rooms filled with people, but what really matters is the air that you are taking in, so if I can put less pressure on my n95 in a high-risk environment by making sur

Need Help Staying Safe with Long Flight and Chronic Illness
I’m also an immunocompromised person with lupus and RA. I fly internationally and wear a 3M Aura or Zimi mask throughout. I have a SIP valve and stay hydrated. protein powder mixes are a thought if you like them. I eat protein bars on layovers in a deserted part of the airport, by lifting my mask, t

Fan and not purifier for desk in a cubicle in a relatively small, crowded open floor?
Assuming you’re already masking with a well fitted (ideally fit tested) respirator, the thing you’re looking for is an air filter with laminar flow. Fans and typical air filters are turbulent, which causes other, non purified air to be swept up in the current and can push contaminated air in your fa

AirTamer 320 - any good?
No, personal air purifiers are generally not a thing. The main issue lies in the turbulent flow coming from the device, which means that the contaminated room air immediately mixes back in to the stream well within your breathing zone. The only exception is devices that have a laminar flow, like the

Flying while immunocompromised - how to best protect myself?
I totally agree with you in the case of undersized traditional air purifiers, but I think that laminar flow personal air purifiers (e.g. AirFanta 4Lite or AirFanta Mini) can be helpful if used correctly.

Air filters for train?
Seconding this comment! If you'll be in a large, shared train car, then the AirFanta 4Lite with laminar flow is your best bet. If you'll have your own private section then a small air purifier like the Exhalaron or the QT3 can help! https://www.cleanairkits.com/products/exhalaron https://smartairfil

Portable air purifier?
Here's an independent test of the AirFanta 4Lite: Youtube It's a great device for when you need to unmask and can provide an extra layer of mitigation to masking in some scenarios. I use mine at work when my room air purifiers haven't had time to clean the air. As for one for the car, you're better

being in a car unmasked?
You're very opinionated for someone so woefully uninformed. Some are highly certified. https://air-fanta.com/products/airfanta-personal-wearable-laminar-air-purifier -- this one here is CE certified (which is more comprehensive than UL testing as it covers more bases) and passes the Saccharin fit te
