Per AHAM's recommendations on wildfire smoke, particulate Smoke Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) should equal a room's area at minimum. So a 196 sq. ft. room with an 8 ft. ceiling needs a Smoke CADR of 196 CFM or greater. If your ceiling is higher than 8 ft., calculate by volume first. As a hypothetic

Get an air purifier. I have had one since covid. I have this one. Coway Airmega AP-1512HH It is usually rated the best. They came out with a new one so that model is now cheaper. Works wonders. We have the smoke here on long island. Probably not as bad. Enough to make everything yellow and burn a li

I’ve used this model indoors and find it works very well, especially when paired with an air filter. I have asthma and am not supposed to smoke or vape but due for emergency pain, migraines & nausea/vomiting management (adding ondansetron as needed), my filter is serious biz and does an impeccable j

The AHAM 2/3 rule stipulates you need a minimum of 140 CFM CADRs. If you're prone to wildfires, Smoke CADR needs to equal a room's area; in that case, you'd need a min. Smoke CADR of 210 CFM. The Airmega AP-1512HH Mighty will not tackle VOCs, smoke odors, or visible dust. To answer your question, it

I got a Coway Airmega AP-1512HH before I got my ragdoll and it does a great job cleaning the air in our 1100sqft apartment. I don't think any air purifier is going to catch many tumbleweeds, it really just cleans the air. Ours will get a little hair over the course of a month. No advice on the Roomb

Blue Air makes some nice quieter ones. I have a 211i and on auto mode it’s very quiet unless I stir up a lot of dust. The Coway Airmega 200M (and it’s near clone the AP-1512HH) is a tiny bit louder and not as nice looking but is also cheaper.
