Help me choosing the right speaker
I suggest yamaha hs7 or adam audio t7v. I have the t7v and a friend of mine has hs7. Both pretty good for the price. 5" speakers are just too tiny. But when space is an issue.. no choice then.

Speaker reccomendations
I have the Adam Audio T7V, very nice sound although a bit overkill if you're in a small space. They weren't much more expensive than the T5V.

I'm new. Here's my kit..
2nd the Adam Audio recommendation. My T7Vs make all the elements of the mix just super clear. Impressive bass and exceptional detail. Before, I was monitoring though my stereo system and overcompensating for missing bass high frequency clarity. My mixes are much more even since switching to the T7V.

Looking for a small footprint desktop setup
I have had a choice of speakers for use with a computer since my first PC in the 90s. They were hooked up to the TV since 1978. Rurak MR1 MkIII but the smaller MKII can have a use for desktop space. Those and others in my spreadsheet list www.mcmullon.com/activespeakers.ods It used to be possible to

r/audiophile Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk Thread
Hi yall. So I fell in love with my adam audios t7v and like to add a little upgrade in terms of stands to use as my living room primary output. However, I can't seem to find appropriate stands for the size of the monitors. They are Height x Width x Depth: 13.7″ x 8.3″ x 11.5” ( 347 mm x 210 mm x 293

Plastic Power Switch Button popped out of place with two metal pieces, more info in comments.
I just woke up and could no longer operate the Switch, in fact it came out just as I tried to turn my studio monitor on. Yesterday night I turned it off no problem, in fact the other one has the kinda buggy/leaning to the side button that should come have come out. Nothing else was in there beside t

Box of doom
Ok that makes a lot of sense thank you for the advice. So far Ive only used headphones in this room because my monitors are too big and sound like crap in here. I have Adam audio t7v monitors set up in my living room where I have been mixing/recording for the past couple years. I recently got a new

Do I need a amp if I get a reciver
In the golden days when tubes were everywhere we had radiograms and stereograms in large pieces of furniture. When we started to get transistors and integrated circuits in the late 60 and 70s we got separate amplifiers to turntables. Pre-amp with power amps were very rare due to the price and would

Powered Speakers for Roland FP-30X ?
I went down this path recently, and ended up just sticking with Pianoteq + headphones until I upgrade to a nicer DP with better speaker system. You are unlikely to find cheap speakers that are much better than the onboard ones. I went with some Kanto Ora 4s with the thought I could just use them on
