Evercade VS-R secrets
I'd honestly recommend also grabbing one of the 8bitdo Arcade Sticks they have on sale as well, been rocking one on mine and its a pretty incredible gaming experience

2026 New N64 controllers
I played the 8bitdo yesterday the first time. For Mario Kart 64 it was fine - although the double triggers irritate me (especially when having played newer Mario Karts lately). But playing the AKI wrestling games with the D-pad was much worse. They should have switched the stick and d-pad.

Looking for arcade stick recommendations
There are some budget arcade sticks I'm aware of: Hori fighting stick mini, Mayflash F500, 8bitdo arcade stick. I'm not sure how easy they are to mod but they should be decent for under $100. You can try it out and see if you like it. I love them for shmups and fighting games. Definitely check out s

Are the joy-cons good enough to be competitive?
Joycons are serviceable but not the best, it will be better with pro controller or 8bitdo arcade stick. In any case the port is just great I recommend it and I’ve been playing World Stage in portable mode with joycons and they work fine

NEO GEO Landing Page
Really want it but don't really need it. All the games already work perfectly on my SNES Classic with 8bitdo arcade sticks. Still trying to justify it because it's a cool system but $90 games isn't helping.

Arcade Stick for NEO•GEO and Arcade Games
I would say if you’re doing general arcade retro stuff and not trying to be a hyper competitive fighting game champion (where leverless seems to be king anyway) the 8bitdo arcade stick is more than good enough to have fun with, reasonably priced, wireless if you’re into that, and the stick and butto

What's everyone's favorite controller to use with the dock? Pros and cons?
I have a lot of controllers, the SN30 pro seems like the best. The 8bitDo NeoGeo wireless is nice for NeoGeo and Arcade stuff. The stick is very unique. The 8bitdo arcade stick is great for arcade cores. The Genesis Big6 is cool but I've had trouble connecting it sometimes. Wii U and PS4 are fine. T

Should I get a stick controller, a hitbox or a WASD controller for 2XKO
I bought the 8bitdo arcade stick for Xbox but could not get on with it for 2xko, even after setting the deadzone to 0. Building my own hitbox now with an arrow key cluster for movement controls.

Arcade Joystick 🕹️
I just received my MiSTer Multisystem2, week before last, and pulled the trigger on the 8bitdo Arcade Stick--it seemed like a straightforward match for what I was looking for from a reputable company--and it arrived about a week ago. Unfortunately I haven't been impressed--while I suspect it works w
