Has anyone tested out the 8BitDo 64 Bluetooth Controller?

Yeah I've been using an 8bitdo 64 controller. Paired up just the same. Has access to the menu button combo. I don't notice any extra latency with it compared to the M64 Pro Controller

Input lag with new features

Apparently the NSO controller is quite laggy in general when not being used with the Switch. I don't use mine with my 3D anymore. No issues with the 8bitdo 64 controller though

Trying to decide on whether to pul the trigger on the Analogue 3D

I enjoy the overclocking functionality for smoother gameplay at higher fps and crt filters and scan lines always benefit from a 4k resolution output, the higher pixel density allows filters to more closely reproduce individual lines and pixels on a crt. So that’s a plus on the analogue over a mister

So do we have a definitive answer as to whether or not 8bitDo or Nintendo Online expansion pack 64 controllers are as good an OG wired N64 controller?

Gotta say, I have one of each (OG wired, NSO and 8Bitdo 64) and they all work perfectly fine for me. I have never had any lag, though I am probably only 1 to 1 1/2 meters from the Analogue 3D. I probably prefer the 8bitDo simply because I'm used to the form factor, though it is fun to reminisce and

NSO N64 Controller Lag Mitigation?

The 8BitDo retro receiver works with much less latency. I don’t think Analogues NSO specific (Switch) implementation is optimized. Their DirectInput implementation with 8BitDo 64 is much better, but the short throw makes it too sensitive (even after they fixed calibration). 8BitDo’s retro receiver a

PSA: What to know about the the Analogue 3D before you ask

-Just to add another data point, my BlueRetro Bitfunx brand adapter from Amazon works great so far with my Switch Online N64 controller. On firmware v25.04. -Gamesharks will boot to menu but games won't start. Tested with v3.2 and 3.3 Gamesharks. Even able to boot into the menu and change the keycod

For those with the Analogue 3d, what’s been your experience with controllers?

The 8bitdo ones that were released for the analogue feels great in the hands, the buttons feel great, and would be perfect for playing games with a few friends like Mario party or Mario Kart, but any game that requires precision on the analogue stick like Goldeneye or Ocarina of time using the sling

Recommended 2.4 ghz N64 controllers with memory slot - Analogue 3D

I just wanted to say, I finally got my 2.4 GHz 8bitdo 64 controllers and they were shit out of the box. Then…I updated the firmware for both the controller and the dongle and everything is fantastic. Response is great. The controller feels great.

New to fpga emulation

I don't think that SNAC is needed at all, unless you are absolutely set on wanting to use original controllers or an original light gun. Modern controllers offer much more responsive controls and better comfort, where as some of the original controllers will end up hurting my hands after an hour of

Finaly complete

Saw this wasn’t answered, I’m not the OP, but I haven’t experienced any lag myself using an 8bitdo 64 controller with the A3D
