Trying to decide on whether to pul the trigger on the Analogue 3D

I enjoy the overclocking functionality for smoother gameplay at higher fps and crt filters and scan lines always benefit from a 4k resolution output, the higher pixel density allows filters to more closely reproduce individual lines and pixels on a crt. So that’s a plus on the analogue over a mister

PSA: What to know about the the Analogue 3D before you ask

-Just to add another data point, my BlueRetro Bitfunx brand adapter from Amazon works great so far with my Switch Online N64 controller. On firmware v25.04. -Gamesharks will boot to menu but games won't start. Tested with v3.2 and 3.3 Gamesharks. Even able to boot into the menu and change the keycod

2.4g N64

I purchased two of the 8bitDo 64 Bluetooth controllers in Classic Gray. Naturally a 2.4g version is made available just after my return window closes. Serves me right for not waiting things out. My A3D resides just around the corner in another room off my home theater. Have to use a cheap no name wi

So do we have a definitive answer as to whether or not 8bitDo or Nintendo Online expansion pack 64 controllers are as good an OG wired N64 controller?

Gotta say, I have one of each (OG wired, NSO and 8Bitdo 64) and they all work perfectly fine for me. I have never had any lag, though I am probably only 1 to 1 1/2 meters from the Analogue 3D. I probably prefer the 8bitDo simply because I'm used to the form factor, though it is fun to reminisce and

this reviewer talks about steam controller gyro

It still affects you even if the screen is higher frequency. The screen will show you a more fresh state if you have higher polling rate. That being said I think the OG steam controller is way more reliable in terms of gyro than my 1000hz 8bitdo ultimate 2.4g wireless. It just feels better probably

2.4G 8BitDo N64Controller switch between Rumble and Memory

In my experience, the problem is only the Summercart menu specifically doesn't recognize the controller pak (memory card). The games do. I can save and load from it in Doom 64, some sports games, etc, even when loaded from a Summercart. Since this controller communicates through the controller port,

Is the NSO 64 controller always going to be so laggy vs wired?

I can confirm this. I have the 8bitdo 64 controller. I wasn't using the included cable but an older cable I had already plugged into the tv. Bluetooth connection dropped constantly if I wasn't 5 feet away or less. When it was consistently connected when I was close enough, the inconsistency of the i

For those with the Analogue 3d, what’s been your experience with controllers?

The 8bitdo ones that were released for the analogue feels great in the hands, the buttons feel great, and would be perfect for playing games with a few friends like Mario party or Mario Kart, but any game that requires precision on the analogue stick like Goldeneye or Ocarina of time using the sling

N64 2.4ghz Just Showed Up

The thing is, there are many N64 games that are very picky and only play properly with the original stick. If your aim sucks in Goldeneye and it feels frustrating to play, it's the controller, not the game. If you bang against walls in a racing game, it's the controller. The games aren't janky, the
