8Bitdo 64 controller tests

Look fine overall but I'm a bit disappointed another company still can't get the stick gates correct, and it’s baffling that nearly every third-party N64 controller continues to avoid the original squarish gate design. If Hori managed to replicate it correctly over 25 years ago, what’s 8bitdo’s excu

Finally bought proper N64 controllers after years of using anything but. Much more comfortable.

The first one is an 8bitdo 64 and the other with the smooth analogue nub is the retro fighter brawler 64. The 8bitdo feels like the better controller overall in terms of overall build quality, compatibility and comfort but I really like the retro fighter aswell, the dpad feels more accurate and the

The analog sticks on the new 8Bitdo N64 controller is absolutely horrid.

I'll commiserate here. The stick is awful, completely unusable for racing games, and I'm wondering if the sensitivity can even be fixed via firmware updates. The physical feel and movement is so jarring compared to other 8bitdo products like the excellent Pro 2. As of now, I'm thinking my daily driv

It’s been said before but use wired original controllers if you can

I modded the dpad on the 8Bitdo controller. It made Dr Mario playable again. https://longplaytech.com/posts/8bitdo-64-controller-diagonal-fix/ The stick isn’t as nice as an OG stick, but it’s pretty good. I can do all the Mario 64 stuff with it fine. It does take some time to adjust to it.

Yeah the sensitivity on the 8bitdo may come as a unpleasant shock to people who are really used to the resistance of the OG stick. Im fine with it because Im used to modern sticks more but Ill admit it feels like an odd design choice for a 64 controller of all things.

Completely overwhelmed - where do I start? (Ocarina of time)

If you're really interested in retro gaming, then your best/easiest/cheapest option is to keep emulating it on your computer.... but get a proper controller. 8bitdo makes a 64 controller that's very good. Not perfect, but very good. There are other options, but so far I like this one the best of the

this reviewer talks about steam controller gyro

It still affects you even if the screen is higher frequency. The screen will show you a more fresh state if you have higher polling rate. That being said I think the OG steam controller is way more reliable in terms of gyro than my 1000hz 8bitdo ultimate 2.4g wireless. It just feels better probably

What controllers feel like a switch pro controller?

I can confirm that the 8bitdo Ultimate controllers are very similar to the Switch Pro controller. They're almost the exact same size and shape. I have the Ultimate 2.4G, not the Ultimate 2, so I can't speak to how good the gyro control on the Ultimate 2 is, and I don't know if there are any differen

8BitDo Joystick v2 for N64 Controller Here

I'm going to try and make a post about comparing v1 hall effect, v2 TMR, NSO controller, OEM and possibly include the 8BitDo modern 64 controller. It might take me a little time, because I have kids and work. First impressions of TMR are very good though. I can say that the range and stick curve are
