Is the NSO 64 controller always going to be so laggy vs wired?
I'm really starting to wonder what's causing all the reports of lag/latency with wireless on the A3D. The HDMI cable was the first suggestion but it could be environmental too. Like other signals causing interference. I've had two A3D consoles now and neither has had disconnection, range, or severe

N64 controller for N64 core
The 8bitdo 64 Bluetooth version is the best alternative to the original controller.

Want to play OOT but don’t have a N64 or 3DS
The 8bitdo 64 controller is the best version of the N64 controller

Do the 8BitDo 64 Controllers Work on Linux?
Can't speak to the 64 controllers specifically, but, my ultimate 2 wireless worked right off the bat on CachyOS. The neat thing with v2 is they've put a usb port in the charging doc so that you don't have to plug the wireless adapter into the PC on its own, you can just leave it plugged in in the do

Trying to decide on whether to pul the trigger on the Analogue 3D
I enjoy the overclocking functionality for smoother gameplay at higher fps and crt filters and scan lines always benefit from a 4k resolution output, the higher pixel density allows filters to more closely reproduce individual lines and pixels on a crt. So that’s a plus on the analogue over a mister

8bitdo Controller - N64, PC, and Switch compatible?
What I'm curious about is if the Switch reads this controller as an N64 controller. I don't really have a need for it since I have the Brawler 64 and the Switch reads that one as an N64 controller, but I like 8BitDo and wouldn't mind getting a second N64 controller at some point.

It’s been said before but use wired original controllers if you can
I modded the dpad on the 8Bitdo controller. It made Dr Mario playable again. https://longplaytech.com/posts/8bitdo-64-controller-diagonal-fix/ The stick isn’t as nice as an OG stick, but it’s pretty good. I can do all the Mario 64 stuff with it fine. It does take some time to adjust to it.

Regret
The A3D really brought home how different the Nintendo Switch Online emulation is from the original console. The 8bitDo controller feels better than the n64 controller ever did, and I’m rediscovering stuff like Mario 64 more or less the way I remember it. The overclock option is nice on kusoge games
