Grinder Recommendations please!

Hand grinding for pour over is just as easy as using an electric grinder (due to course grind size). The main difference is that at your price point, your electric grinder options are fairly bottom tier, while hand grinders will be quite top tier. A 1zpresso K Ultra will be significantly better than

Taking a trip to Hawaii, looking into a manual grinder to bring with my AP.

I was in a very similar situation a couple of years ago. quick background: I use a Rancillio Rocky grinder at home for both French Press, pourover and aeropress. I would often pre-grind coffee for trips, but decided when there was a Lightning sale on a C2 Max for $50, I would give it a shot for a 2

looking for a hand grinder that can grind light roast espresso to pour overs [$200]

Check out 1ZPresso K-Ultra. Light roast beans ground fine enough for espresso is going to be difficult with any hand grinder. You might want to do strength exercises on your arms before attempting it 😀

Gifted an incredible machine but can’t afford a top tier grinder to match…what’s good enough? [$250]

If you don't mind manual grinding, that would certainly be the best value solution. The J Series 1Zpresso, K-Ultra or a Kinu M47 would be absolutely killing it at that price point. I sometimes use my K-Ultra over my Philos for Espresso and I heard the same in regards to the M47. Plus the K-Ultra wou

Looking to buy a DF54 grinder - best place to buy (India or US)? Also open to alternatives

As an ex-DF54 owner, I'd suggest going in for a 1Zpresso K-Ultra instead. The only thing you get from the DF54 is the convenience of an electric. It's a good electric grinder for its price, but it is no match for a top-end hand grinder like the K-Ultra. The DF54's flavour is very tea-like but not co

Beginner home set-up advice [~$1000 max]

I went with the bambino as my first espresso machine about 3 months ago and couldn’t be happier. I love the small footprint and simplicity. Does everything I need, including steaming milk. I went with the 1zpresso k ultra grinder. I don’t love the manual grinding, but it’s making great espresso so I

…and so my journey begins 😌

I just got a bambino and went with the 1zpresso k-ultra hand grinder. I was a bit surprised how much effort I have to put into hand grinding, but overall I’m happy.
