Nice question, actually my present this year was a pair of Yamaha HS4 speakers. They sound great and the pickups on the LP have MASSIVE sound. Couldn’t be happier.

Get someone to get you the Yamaha HS3 or the HS4 for Christmas. For around $230.00 you get 2 speakers. Don’t let the size & the price of these speakers fool you. I have my Go hooked up to some Yamaha HS4 studio monitors. Good enough for a couch player, and sounds great and gets loud enough for some fun. I tried tonocracy through the same speakers with a Mac and a focusrite audio interface and it didn't sound as good.
