MY CURRENT MIX: Please give constructive criticism!

I recommend that try to kick up about $230.00 and get a pair of the Yamaha HS3 of HS4 ($245.00). Guitar Center current have used for $165.). Don’t let these little speakers fool you. They can get pretty loud if needed. Loudness is not what you need to achieve a good mix especially if your room isn’t

Small room / desk against wall — which speakers/monitors should I buy?

The Yamaha hs5 would be my choice. I have a pair of hs7 and hs4 and they are great speakers

Yamaha HS4 and spend the rest on a Zoom MS70CDR, the DX7 loves chorus and reverb.

Thoughts On Fender Blues Junior?

For similar money, I would rather look at the Vox AC15 ($999 new at Sweetwater). But the Blues Jr is fine, and I could get solid sounds from it with zero modifications. I would try to pick up either amp used, if possible. What does playing at home look like? The Blues Jr and AC15 are LOUD. If you ha

Don't know about the 770s I have only ever owned 2 pairs of sens HD 280 pro and a really old pair I think they were 25s (unsure) I do know 770s are closed backs (for mix down mastering (I prefer open back) I recently purchased the DT 990 pros and I will never look back worth noting I originally used

Replace Spark 40 with a Go + Headrush FRFR-Go?

I have my Go hooked up to some Yamaha HS4 studio monitors. Good enough for a couch player, and sounds great and gets loud enough for some fun. I tried tonocracy through the same speakers with a Mac and a focusrite audio interface and it didn't sound as good.

Studio Monitors Suggestions

It's not too late! I've actually been looking at getting Yamaha HS4's instead. People really recommend Yamaha as a great brand, the HS line and I've definitely seen comments suggesting avoiding KRK completely

Suggestions for a small speaker solution for apartment?

Powered studio monitors or (gasp) just any old computer speakers or whatever. At that budget, you’re looking at some introductory priced options but I’m sure you can find something you’d like. I went really cheap and got some $100 Mackies and they’re fine but took some tweaking of the output EQ to m
