Thanks, i hate 100 kW flashlights powered by single AA battery.
Don't forget the mismarketing of the mAh rating of the shitty batteries that go in the flashlights. Them ultramegafire 18650 batteries claiming 5000 mAh, no such battery exists. I've been most happy with my Wurkkos FC11 I bought 4 years ago for $30. Just wish sometimes it had a button on the end for

Good lights for industrial maintenance
Wurkkos FC11 in 4000k. I think it's around 1200 lumens and the color makes shining it on stainless easier. I work with a lot of stainless steel and white lights are blinding. This light also takes 18650 batteries so when it dies you can just swap the battery out for a fresh one then put the dead one

First EDC flashlight recommendation?
I really like both subs but unless you are really going to get A LOT into flashlights, like, flashlight collector level, listen more to this sub recomendations than the other. Here people is going to recommend things more based in a regular person's user experience. For example, in r/flashlights the

Is the olight worth the hype?
I've had a Wurkkos FC11 for a while and it's great - especially for the price.

Director wants to light actor's faces with torches?
Depending on the show's budget I would buy some flashlights of higher quality. There are nerds on this website that have them all catalogued, etc. I have a Wurkkos FC11 myself and one of the best features is that I can continuously dim the output, turn the flashlight off, then have it come back on a

Flashlight recommendations compiled
My preferred light isn't on the list. Wurkkos FC11. Uses a 18650, USB-C rechargeable, magnetic cap.

What is the best light that is about the same size (~4 in) and price ($25-40) of the Acebeam TAC? Perfect if it has a magnetic base but not required. Thanks in advance. Not looking for a complicated interface.
The Wurkkos FC11 is solid for that price range and has the magnet you want, super simple UI too

Everyday Carry as an electrician on a cargo vessel
Yeah I had a couple laying around from when Wurkkos sent me some dive lights just because they are the homie, there was a point a few years back at which I was emailing with them every couple weeks about design stuff and they were just kinda hooking it up. I just got one of the slighter bigger FC mo
