Help me make camping more comfortable for my boujee gf
I’d suggest an Exped Megamat dupe. I had dimensional constraints otherwise I would have gotten a dupe as well. But the Exped foam plus blow up hybrid style is great. Regardless which matress you get, a flextailgear pump is rechargeable, tiny, and inflates and deflates. Indispensible part of my kit.

First EDC flashlight recommendation?
I really like both subs but unless you are really going to get A LOT into flashlights, like, flashlight collector level, listen more to this sub recomendations than the other. Here people is going to recommend things more based in a regular person's user experience. For example, in r/flashlights the

Daily Work Carry
Thankfully we live in the heyday of inexpensive but very nice flashlights. If you like that form factor I would recommend the Sofirn SC13 or Wurkkos FC11. USB C rechargeable and much brighter than your current light. Check out those brands or Acebeam for inexpensive but reliable lights

I just started in residential, any recommendations for light to take to the attics?
I'm a big r/flashlight nerd The sofirn hs10 is my go-to and has never let me down. Also the wurkkos fc11 is my pocket light. Clips onto a hat really well. Both are better than anything you can buy from tool companies and both charge USB c

Recommendations for a solid engine room flashlight? (Assistant ETO)
Wolf, Nitrcore, Ledlenser (expensive). Personal suggestion: Wurkkos FC11. Cheap, durable, rechargeable, small and can carry in pocket. Also get headlamps too from the above. Very useful while working.

Brands?
You'll be disappointed with a lighted collar, you'll be MUCH better off with a flashlight or headlamp. r/flashlights Wurkkos FC11 with the LH351D is excellent with USB c charging and great color accuracy (90 CRI!) in a flashlight form-factor $32 OR Skilhunt H04RC with the 4000k Nichia LED is a great

BIFL Zaklamp
