Microslop in their infinite wisdom.
Interesting that privacy stuff is under attack. The US government wants us to think that a VPN can strip away our rights. Mightily convenient. I’d still trust Windscribe with my data even if it were ‘risky’ in some way to do so.

Well, here it is, folks...
Here is something for you all. As you know you can use VPN to bypass this (How long that will last is another matter) But there will be quite a fair few on here not able to afford VPN. Please do not fall for the free VPN's you see online and sites. If you want a free VPN that is legitimate and safe

I would recommend windscribe or proton's Web extensions over this. They actually care about user privacy.

Is Windscribe really safe to use
Indeed, Windscribe is a verified secure VPN that adheres to a "no logs" policy. They have been established in the industry for a considerable time, are easily reachable, and maintain a high level of transparency, as demonstrated on their website at https://windscribe.com/transparency.

Looking for the 7 countries that windscribe has operational bases in
There are no other offices, it clearly says that they have one office and remote employees in 7 countries. I don't think it's reasonable to expect Windscribe to disclose the physical locations of their employees. As I understand they don't operate business there and don't have any VPN infrastructure

My Privacy Journey
You have made decent choices, but like /u/No_Yak2845, I would suggest reconsidering Windscribe VPN for the future. Remember, any VPN not accepting either cash or anonymous crypto like Monero for payment, does actually want to know who you are, they can tell from your payment details. I suggest you s

Does using Windscribe with ControlD reduce anonymity?
No, not realistically. Windscribe already uses ControlD DNS by default, just not a custom profile. They’re sister companies. The redirect feature can actually increase your anonymity, making cross-site tracking more difficult by routing different domains through different exit nodes. You can also ch
