Uni decided to lock me out of my account because I used a VPN. And then they had the nerves to email me on my LOCKED e-mail, which I COULD NOT ACCESS.
Try a VPN like windscribe that has a stealth mode and censorship circumvention.

Which premium subscription is actually worth the money in 2026?
Or Windscribe, a journalist association did a report on it and that and mullvad were the only two that passed all requirements

No more discounts
I do this and it works, but I have only bought the supply passes or the Bp so I’m not sure if they might suddenly restrict bigger purchases. For VPN windscribe has a choose your region $3 plan an I got Japan and Hong Kong for shitz and giggles. So you don’t need to pay full price for another VPN

News about inoperability of VPN in Russia
Posts like this, especially when they assume nobody is working on the issue or that compensation is somehow owed, probably don’t really motivate the team that’s trying to solve the problem. Windscribe spends a significant amount of time and resources trying to keep the VPN working in countries like

Firefox 149 will offer a free built-in VPN, split views, tab notes and optional AI windows
Depends on the context. For example most open sourced software is free because it helps with the development of the code or because making it free is to the benefit of everyone involved (Ex. the Linux kernel) Or using the 2 trustworthy (in my opinion) "free" VPN's that I know of (Windscribe and Prot

VPN firm says it didn’t know customers had lifetime subscriptions, cancels them
Yeah I'm in a similar situation with another VPN. Bought a lifetime subscription back in 2016/2017 that they were offering for ~$60 since they were a new startup, but only years later did they subtly update the account page to say "expires in 2027." Still a good deal compared to pretty much any othe

Windscribe making up rules as they go along to get rid of lifetime subscribers
Sadly, not all information is being presented here. I would advise caution against taking all claims at face-value. Timeline of events: The user's account was disabled due to an aberrantly high number of sessions. This is usually indicative of a compromised account or account sharing. If the user in

Best Free VPN
There’s no such thing as a 'perfect' free VPN. Each comes with limitations: Proton doesn’t let you choose your location and blocks P2P traffic. Windscribe and TunnelBear only offer 10GB per month for free. 1VPN is only free for the browser extension. Hotspot Shield and Urban VPN log and sell your da
