First pc build

First Pc and I need some opinions.

Any 6000 RAM with CL less than 40 will work fine. some good SSDs: WD Blue SN5000/SN7100, Kioxia Exceria Plus G3/Plus G4, Samsung 990 EVO Plus; get whichever one is cheapest.

First build opinions

The NV3 often uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years; it should not be used for the OS. Get a better drive with TLC flash like the Lexar NM620 256 GB/512 GB or WD Blue SN5000.

WD SN580 VS SN5000

I have the same questions but I've got enough of an understanding of what old mate said to be able to translate. Some of what he said is wrong so I'm just going to filter it so it's correct. The main difference is that the 5000 is a bit faster (Reads/writes 5150/4900 mb/s vs the sn580 r/W: 4150/4150

Sandisk WD Black SN8100 2TB SSD Review: The fastest overall consumer SSD ever made

Just for a timeline; October 2023 is when Western Digital officially announced their plans to spin off SanDisk into it's own entity and move all of their flash-based storage over to that entity. Since then we've seen the release of the WD Blue SN5000, WD Black SN7100, and this new WD Black SN8100 re

If anyone needs a 2k PC this is prob the best one for 2026 roast me in the replies if you hate it

The UD90 is just as bad as the NV3. Some good drives with TLC flash would be, e.g., the Patriot P400 Lite/VP4300 Lite, Timetec 35TTFP6PCIE, Biwin Black Opal NV7400, or WD Blue SN5000.

The NV3 often uses QLC flash, which has low durability and becomes noticeably slower after a few years. Get a better drive with TLC flash like the Patriot P400 Lite, Corsair MP600 GS, or WD Blue SN5000.

Looking to replace my Crucial CT2000P3SSD8 SSD, but found out there's not much stock available. What equivalent SSD might you suggest as a replacement? (Need to keep at Gen3)

Thank you so much. I'd heard good things about the Western Digital WD Blue SN5000, so may go that way.

You can probably buy RTX 4070 for decent price only second hand . Still good choice of GPU if you find it for the right price . You want SSD for boot drive that isnt QLC but TLC , TLC SSDs last longer, on paper at least .Kingston NV3 have both QLC and TLC variants . Try checking the price of Western
