The SN850P is definitely a better drive as long as it will fit on your motherboard. Apparently if the MB has built-in heatsinks it can cause fit issues but maybe someone who's used this Playstation-marketed part in a PC can chime in.

What is the deal with the different part numbers for the PS 2TB Blacks from Wally and Jeff B? The Wally's part # says 7300/6300 and the Jeff PS 2TB says 7000/5300. There are two releases. The slower one uses the SN850 and is labelled as such. The faster one is labelled as SN850P and uses the SN850X.
