Update after about a month: still working great, haven't found any significant flaws. It's just a pleasure to use, and the size and weight are perfect. So nice to have a both a nice OLED display and an effective anti-glare coating - almost all other OLED laptop displays are super glossy and cause di

I spent a few hours yesterday out shooting birds with my S1Rii and the Sigma 300-600mm f4. I can say without hesitation it is up to the job. The eye AF is lightning quick with this combination with few shots missed. Choice of memory card is important. I am using a Western Digital SN770M SSD in a CF-

If you're looking at the Corsair MP600 Core Mini for your Steam Deck, I'd strongly suggest considering the WD Black SN770M instead. Even though the Deck only supports PCIe Gen 3, and both drives will be limited to ~3,500 MB/s max, there are still major differences: NAND Type: SN770M uses TLC, MP600

I have ended up using 2tb Western Digital SN770m drives in Jeyi 2230 solid copper CFE adaptors. That combination is a perfect fit in the card slot, very fast and I have had zero problems. I am sure that some of the regular CFE cards are good too but this combination is fast reliable and cheap in my

Unless you modify your steam deck to fit this size of drive, it will not work. this drive is a 2280 length. the standard steam deck drive is 2230, which are the ones I link above. unfortunately, these shorter drives tend to be more expensive, but the general consensus of the sub is that the WD Black

these are external SSDs and 80 mm long. only 30mm long SSD fits inside a steam deck. as external ssd these are not optimal as you need to use an USB hub to attach them to the usb C of the steam deck. so it might be cheap, but useless for you. buy a western digital 2230 SN770M in any size you like an

NAND types: TLC/QLC options in corsair, QLC in crucial. QLC might slow down significantly (below 100MBps) when its cache filled up or if its near full. Best option if you can afford is the western digital black SN770M

Yeah, meanwhile I’ve been testing both a Western Digital 2230 NVMe, the SN770M, and also a 2230 KingSpec NX Series, and both work well as the main drive, but they get notably hot… so my plan is to also get a heat dissipation copper radiator. If you find any info on how to replace the thermal paste o

Just moved my OLED's 512GB to a 2TB (WD BLACK SN770M) yesterday using this video to do partitioning and imaging from the SteamDeck. Only major challenge was the SteamDeck's big keyboard in desktop mode and the cheap copper plate that I bought with the least amount of directions. Despite more storage
