What other brand you've got in mind? Samsung makes good Sata SSDs and I never had an issue myself or at customers with either brand. I'm running 2 WD SN850X NVMe and they are rocking since 1-2 years with no issues.

For those who've switched from a UDM Pro to the UCG-Fiber, was it worth it?
Years ago I used some cheap SSDs and they all seemed to fail or have issues within a couple years. When I started getting highly reputable ones, usually WD black or Samsung ssds, I never really had issues again. For hdds, I've just been getting exos for a while now too for more speed and reliability
