Thoughts on OneXPlayer

I mean, I really cannot believe how many issues are outlined just in this sub alone. If you are one of the individuals who are lucky enough to have one product and you’ve never had any issues, good for you. But that doesn’t discount all of the other issues documented in here. It is literally countle

If not legion go 2 which other handheld?

If you have a Claw 8 you don't really need anything else unless you're just looking to collect or get something different. In that case get a OneXFly F1 Pro for the compact size and OLED screen or a OneXPlayer X1 Pro for the large screen. If you buy from OneXPlayer just know that you can expect to b

Claw Ai 8+ with a RTX 5080

You are bottleneck from the TB4 and CPU along with being 1080P for sure with the 5080. My OneXPlayer X1 Pro is bottleneck from the 5080 while playing 1440/1600. Changed it to 2160/2400 to avoid bottleneck. Oculink has the least performance loss.

Long boot times

Considering the specs of the computer, and the fact that BazziteOS usually is really slow to boot-up also on modern high-end hardware, it's not that much almost 2 minutes. On my OneXplayer X1 Pro (AMD Ryzen 9 HX370, 32GB of DDR5 RAM 8000mHz, 2TB SSD nvme m.2) It takes around 1 minutes more or less,

Which controller comes with 3?

I can assure you that the second type is really really short, the last two fingers are always out of the controller, you can grab it only with three fingers and after some minutes of gaming you start to feel the total weight (also because we're talking about 1Kg with the OneXplayer X1 Pro). Also, th

I may never financially recover from this 😆

One is a handheld by a no-name Chinese brand with no US after sales support, and the other is a proper desktop replacement where you can not only play games at 4070 mobile gpu level, but also run local AI models, haha. I'm saying this from experience. I owned the OneXPlayer X1 Pro and returned it wi

I am super happy that I chose Z Flow over G14/16

Don't get OneXPlayer anything. I got the OneXPlayer X1 Pro and then returned it after a month. Good that I got it from Amazon so it was withing the return period. With OneXPlayer if you are lucky to avoid any hardware issues, you will 100% run into software issues which even OneX doesn't know the so

Handheld PC as my daily docked dev machine + VM host — which would you pick?

I only know one person who says they're happy using a handheld as a docked desktop and they own a OneXplayer X1 Pro HX 370 64GB they got last summer. They only use OCuLink for adding additional Gen4x4 NVMe SSD storage. The keep it on a laptop cooling stand as a tablet connected to a StarTech docking
