Why not considering a OneXplayer X1 Pro or X1 Air? They have big screen (11" like a small tablet) and good performance. For experience I can say that 14" it's not really portable, at the end in the backpack it's like carrying a 15" laptop, while 11" actually feel smaller and portable.

Look into the OneXPlayer X1 Pro/Air tablets. Basically the same size as the Surface Go, similar detachable typefolio, and has gaming performance (useful for people like me who want to edit 4K30 video or do indie game dev in Unity)

I've been using a One Xplayer X1 Pro. Small enough to get creative in business class! Double as a decent handheld gamer too. Cheaper options are available.

I briefly owned the OneXPlayer X1 Pro, which is another 11" tablet PC that comes with removable controllers on the sides. I found it too large and not particularly comfortable to use as a handheld. The size made for a great ultra-portable tablet, however.

It is hard to find a middle ground for me. I really like win mini for the size, especially when paired with Xreal glasses. But on the productivity front the size is bad. So I gravitate towards the win max /OneXPlayer x1 pro sizes. So now I use both.
