Picopresso wear and tear

The pump broke on my Pico. However, Wacaco are really good with spares and they are cheap too. Customer support is second to none imo.

Picopresso wear and tear

My Picopresso is about 2.5 years old and I use it at least once a day as it is the only espresso maker I own (I bought it in Nov 2022). The one thing I absolutely had to do (about a year ago) is apply the hack that is mentioned somewhere in this reddit - basically you add an O-ring and some lubrican

Picopresso wear and tear

I got my picopresso used from Marketplace and that’s what exactly the first thing I did as the unit was leaking.

IKAPE KAPO K2 Pro or MHW press58x or picopresso Portable Espresso experiences

It depends on your needs the kapo k2 is a all-in-one package while the picopresso is just the coffee maker, you still need to heat the water and pump it yourself. I only have the picopresso and it makes amazing shots! The strong advantages are the super compact machine with accessories package and t

Practicing the full manual mood with the wacaco picopresso and the timemore C5esp hand grinder

Love my Picopresso. I have this, a Commandante grinder with red click upgrade, and a Timemore mini scale. I use the standard basket with 18g coffee. I find when my grinder is dialed in I hardly need to adjust it. I get 9/10 quality shots from it consistently. You get a feel for it. Pump it up to pre

Picopresso Vs Robot Cafelat?

I have both. Pico for work and Robot for the house. The taste and build quality of the Robot is better. Shots from the Robot has a richer body with more sweetness. With that said, The picopresso is not too far behind in taste. I’ve had it for a year and I’m still impressed with the quality of shots

Picopresso Vs Robot Cafelat?

My Picopresso piston popped out after ~10 shots. I got a new unit as replacement, but still. My Robot will probably outlast me, so there’s that.

IKAPE KAPO K2 Pro or MHW press58x or picopresso Portable Espresso experiences

I only use my picopresso for travel and so far I have been using the comandante c40. For this summer I think I will buy a 1zpresso J-ultra for faster grinder times and enough clarity and more body with a medium to dark roast. My friend already has a kingrinder k2 (cheap and good enough entry grinder

Is this normal ? - Leakage

Not sure why people aren't really answering the question more directly. NO is it not normal for it to leak at the pump and YES that is a defective unit you should get replaced from the seller or by Wacaco. I had something similar happen after a year of usage and Wacaco sent me an entirely new body f

Any optoins for an Espresso machine that is even smaller than the Bambino? Something with a really shallow depth / able to be positioned sideways? [$700]

I used a picopresso, 1zpresso K-plus, and a subminimal frother for 3 years before getting a dual boiler machine. Made me really good at dialing and troubleshooting before having a real setup!
