Why are they blocking VPNs?

While VPNs help protect privacy, they also allow a user to circumvent a ban. So if a user gets banned, they can hop on a VPN and register a new account, which includes all the scammers who get caught and then need to get back on with a new account. Especially if the user tries a different browser wh

Created my account with Mailinator, now locked out

If you want to use a VPN, that doesn't get flagged, I highly recommend vpngate.net. It's exactly what I use. Free, no money at all. All you need is the OpenVPN client. 90% of all those VPNs are private people who have turned their internet into a VPN anyone can connect to. And major VPN trackers don

Trying to set up NordVpn on OpenVpn, it refuses connection.

To test the DNS theory, use the DNS Diag tool in pfsense to verify it resolves. That’ll answer that part. For the port, use what the docs say. From there, you’re gonna need to start sharing specific logs from pfSense. I’ve setup OVPN clients on pfSense with VyprVPN. It was a bit of a confusing pain

Let'sVPN is suspending service to China

It used to work but they got bought out by some larger company and since then their services haven't worked in China for several years. Them, SurfShark, NordVPN, VyprVPN, all garbage.

Windscribe Server Network Updates - 10 Gbps servers and new locations! 🚀

Honestly, I don't know what to make of the VyprVPN/Giganews FBI scandal. But I highly doubt they own all the data centers their servers are housed in. AzireVPN has a similar claim but it's co-located servers (owns hardware but housed in third-party data centers). I think that article's core message

Paid VPN necessary if you have already set up a WireGuard VPN connection to your router at home?

Not that this answers your question, but I have has no issues connecting and routing my traffic thru my home network via Tailscale on mobile and wifis. I could not get VyprVPN to connect a single time on WiFi with their WireGuard connection

VyprVPN doesn't work?

It's not like this even stops me from downloading... I just got a Tmobile Netgear hotspot w/ network port an plug it in where the AT@T modem was an different VPN provider an resumed the downloads an I was back up right away. I just know now that VyprVPN an AT@T is not a good mix...

I have this problem and noticed it shortly after installing VyprVPN. Is that the case for anyone else?

VPN (OpenVPN or Wireguard) client on the ER707-M2 Standalone

I had an Omada ER605 and now have an ER7206. Neither of these is capable of connecting to my VPN providers (formerly vyprvpn and now ExpressVPN). I checked with TP-Link support and they said it was due to an old OpenSSL library in their product - that was a couple of years ago and still does not see
