Which dashcam brand gives the best value for the money?

I have a Vantrue N4 Pro (3ch) in my car and a Baseus VD1 Pro (2ch) in my wife. If it’s your first time getting a dashcam, I’d recommend the VD1 Pro since it’s a nice balance of price/quality/easy setup. Some cheaper dashcams only record in interpolated 4K, which looks blurry compared to true 4K. Wit

Gotta get a dashcam

Dashcams are definitely important. I got the Vantrue N4 Pro S and it’s been really solid for me.

Fuckers can’t drive

I have a Vantrue N4 that I got last year on Black Friday for like 150. I am far from a dashcam expert though, just an advocate! I just wanted one that has good reviews for at least reading license plates.

Dash-cams

They're easy to install, follow any YouTube video and you'll get it right. I've had the blackvue 750x which I found to have low video quality and ability to capture license plates and details. My vantrue n4 pro blows it out the park in all those qualities and more. I would definitely look at video c

5 kids breaking into my car. Installed interior dashcam 2 days ago... talk about timing.

The best dashcam that fits the description of 3 channels with IR night vision is probably the Vantrue N4 Pro, though it is extremely expensive. Currently the Rove R3 is on sale for almost 50% off on Amazon and it's probably better value even though it uses older starvis sensors instead of starvis 2.

Dash cam

Most people go with the fitcam since its looks seamless and well hidden but don't think it supports parking mode. It piggy backs off the mirror power with a y-splitter and very easy to install. Popular brands would be the viafo, blackvue, or maybe vantrue. I personally wanted something good for nigh

Finally Got My Dream Car!

I second Vantrue, I use them in both my C63s and M6. It’s a great 3-channel/front, cabin, and back dashcam for only $200. I’m using the N3 which is 3 generations old, now they have the N4 and even the N5 which is a 4-channel setup but obviously more expensive.

Lyft nighttime recommendations

Super thoughtful of you to get a dashcam for your partner. Most uber/lyft drivers have a 2 channel camera which has a front camera and an interior cam. It's the easiest to wire because you don't have to put a wire to the back of the car. Also, it protects you for like 95% of situations. Go for somet

Dash Cam Recommendations & Install.

Pretty happy with my Vantrue N4 Pro. I bought an OBD adapter to plug it into and the dashcam came with acessories to stick the cables underneath the headliner for a clean install. It is pricy though, but great picture quality.

Best action cameras?

Last year I got a Vantrue N4 dashcam which has 3 cameras: forward, in cabin, and rear. I did an autocross with it and a GoPro (the GoPro over my shoulder to show my feet and steering). The dashcam is a great addition.
