Quick comparison of my windshield mounted dash cam versus Rivians DriveCam recording (Gen1).
I just thought people might find it interesting to see a side by side comparison of a 4k dashcam versus what Gen1’s DriveCam footage looks like (and also to show off an annoying stop sign runner 😑). Rivian’s DriveCam is actually very wide. Even more of a wide angle view than my dashcam. The main iss

Road rage
I have the vantrue n4 and it has good quality internal, external and rear video~ it works really well for a basic dashcam and I can easily pop the SD card out and check footage easily Eventually I want to upgrade to either a viofo or garmin (they're like the gold standard) or get a discreet one inst

I CANNOT catch a break
Too late now but Vantrue makes amazing dashcams. They have a new 360 cam out but I haven't tried that model. We have the N4 in all our vehicles, see almost everything. As for home cameras , I use Annke. Inexpensive and no cloud subscription needed, works great. Sorry about your ride bro, people suck

Best 3 channel dash cam?
If you want a true 3 channel dashcam, then I'd say go with the Vantrue N4 if you're on a budget. If you have a higher budget then the latest and greatest are the Vantrue N4 Pro or the A229 Pro. Both are very solid. The Vantrue has better form factor but the A229 has better quality rear cam. These ar

Which dashcam brand gives the best value for the money?
I have a Vantrue N4 Pro (3ch) in my car and a Baseus VD1 Pro (2ch) in my wife. If it’s your first time getting a dashcam, I’d recommend the VD1 Pro since it’s a nice balance of price/quality/easy setup. Some cheaper dashcams only record in interpolated 4K, which looks blurry compared to true 4K. Wit

Looking for a solid dashcam, which one is a good choice?
Stay away from Redtiger. The F17 is a fake 4K dashcam. The IMX675 is a 2K sensor and that's why it's such a cheap option. Their parking mode sucks and basically it's a bunch of cheapy poorly executed junk. Take a look at options from viofo, vantrue, vueroid, blackvue, thinkware, or another more repu

Gotta get a dashcam
Dashcams are definitely important. I got the Vantrue N4 Pro S and it’s been really solid for me.

My bank won't let me buy a camera from Vantrue?
VanTrue is more a dashcam company. You should check out the dashcam subs. The N4 is an excellent camera. Try buying it from Amazon instead

Fuckers can’t drive
I have a Vantrue N4 that I got last year on Black Friday for like 150. I am far from a dashcam expert though, just an advocate! I just wanted one that has good reviews for at least reading license plates.
