And actually uses it's dual exposure mode to capture plates. Love my vantrue n4 pro but at the time it came out it didn't seem like any other camera actually used this mode correctly. Maybe it's changed.

I recommend not buying a cheap one. There are a lot of garbage ones out there. I run a Vantrue N2 Pro but it pretty old. The N4 pro is the current model I think. It’s about $300 but well worth the money.

Multi-channel definitely gives you better coverage, but it really depends on your needs. I’m using the Vantrue N4 Pro S, which is a 3-channel setup, and it pretty much captures everything. The video quality is solid both day and night.
