As much as I love the SD this is such a common problem it’s ridiculous. This could be (mostly) remedied if Valve just didn’t use the most obvious packaging ever.

What are your thoughts about games getting negative reviews because they're incompatible with steamdeck?
this would be my thought, if the game says Steam Deck verified and it doesn't play well then it deserves that negative review. A game just not working and doesn't claim to is a whole other thing.

How often do you use your Steam Deck at home when you already have a gaming PC?
A lot, but I think the people that get the most use are husbands and dads. For example my wife likes to hang out upstairs and not feel so disconnected so we can talk still. Steam deck is great for this and progressing single player games.

Valve Says It's 'Hard at Work' on Steam Deck 2, but There's Still No Release Window
I had an itch for something more powerful but I'm actually pretty content with my oled SD. I was tempted by the lego2 but not for 3k lol. I'll just make do with pc streaming until the SD 2 launches, even if that is a few years. I trust ol valve they've done right by me

Is it okay to keep it plugged/docked permanently ? (Soft limiting battery charge to 95% / second hand / battery health at 93%)
I’ll add on to this that Steam Deck uses power passthrough that bypasses the battery entirely. This means that you aren’t constantly wearing down the biggest fail point of these devices.
