This is NOT verified. It’s a slide show 😭😭😭😭does verified mean anything anymore?

The game is verified to launch at 10fps haha If you change some settings it can be a little better but should not be verified for sure. Changing from "quality" default graphics to "performance". Should absolutely have been the default Steam deck settings BEFORE it was verified, as an absolute bare m

What do you think the SD is lacking? / What's your biggest complaint about it?

Another USB C port would be awesome. And better hardware of course, so I can also play new AAA games. And not really related to the deck it self but the steam shop kinda sucks on the deck.

Well this made my morning 🐐

For all Steam Deck users: RE2 doesnt work 🥺 Needs some tweaking to run just like Dino Crisis 2. RE3 runs good but controls need to be configured to be able to play.

Mouse P.I. For Hire is Steam Deck Verified, system requirements reveal target FPS for handhelds & more

At this point I literally do not care if a game is Steam Deck Verified. It means absolutely nothing Edit: i'll just add: my Deck has always been primarily a Slay the Spire/Slay the Spire 2 machine so its not an issue for me

Newly Verified ‘Death Stranding 2’ running at sub 20 frames during combat.

Is anyone surprised? Verified has meant nothing for years. Valve saying they're going to make the restrictions even MORE lax for the Steam Machine honestly has me very concerned what they're gonna let publishers get away with, after watching what they've "verified" for the Deck.

Me, a vanilla deck enjoyer, reading r/steamdeck support requests

As someone who developes decky plugins, it's a garbage platform for stability. No documentation, API calls are randomly depreciated in a release with no warning, and the decky store is completely a shit show with no actual concern for compatibility for steam versions. Like the slightest capitalizati

Why won’t he open that damn door?

Yeah, pretty much. Partially related, but the way they implemented the integration with Epic Online Services increased the power consumption significantly. On Steam Deck it went from 7 to 12 W. The worst of all, they also planted a weird bug where if you try to use your active item and press the tri

Handheld emulator for 10 y.o.

These days, handheld gaming systems can mean a lot of things and can get very specific. Can be everything from a Nintendo Switch, to a PC handheld like the Steam Deck, to the handhelds you’re seeing that are emulator focused which come with their own caveats. As a parent, my honest suggestion is see

What do you think the SD is lacking? / What's your biggest complaint about it?

Took me forever to get the docked mode to work, but even then it's sporadic. I was running it through my Denon receiver, and it would detect that there was something there, but nothing would show on the TV. I also happened to see it needed an update when I unplugged it, but couldn't start the update
