Valve Says It's 'Hard at Work' on Steam Deck 2, but There's Still No Release Window
I had an itch for something more powerful but I'm actually pretty content with my oled SD. I was tempted by the lego2 but not for 3k lol. I'll just make do with pc streaming until the SD 2 launches, even if that is a few years. I trust ol valve they've done right by me

I think I finally understand the Steam Deck hype now.
Yes and no. Valve was VERY purposeful in the design of the SD, including the 800p resolution and it's deliberate targeting of being relatively efficient at lower TDP targets. It's "limits" in that regard were absolutely by design, and were very well handled. People's expectations of the handheld spa

We need an option to turn this off. I get it, I have a potato laptop, but I can still run it. No need to remind me every time 😭
Exactly. I know what's my PC's limit and it run very well on low and on my steam deck. It's just annoying to see this pop up every damn time

The Steam Controller on MiSTer FPGA - Here is What You Need to Know
Lmao the steam deck did so well it stimulated the creation of a whole generation of handheld PCs that’s still ongoing. Wtf are you talking about their hardware history being unimpressive?

Best Steam games for the field
I've got a steam deck, so the comparison might be a little off. The remake of Red Dead redemption 1 runs very well on the deck. The remakes for the Kingdom Hearts games also run really well and serve well for a time sink.

Just cooking dinner and traversing the galaxy at the same time
Elite runs acceptably on the Steam Deck (proton) solid 60+fps, just the damn screen is so small and my eyes are so old that its hard to see the HUD. A top end Thor has to be close in power to a steam deck.

Deus me perdoe, mas não dá não.
Eu só sei que é chato ter que comprar o Switch só para jogos antigos da Nintendo. Eu me sentiria tentado a comprar Steam Deck, para ter os jogos de PC, e emular os jogos da Nintendo
