Steam deck stolen by UPS twice. Steam support unhelpful
how about stop sending it in boxes that say Steam Deck on it. maybe that'll save a lot of headaches 🤷♂️ Edit: hey thanks for the reward! Edit 2: omg thanks for the multiple rewards! hope this becomes visible enough to Valve and can make this change! Edit 3: thank you for more rewards. ok I know it doe

After support ends, how long do you think Nightreign will last?
as someone who bought the switch 2 exclusively for duskbloods, I am sorely regretting it so far. mario kart world fell off a week in the catalog they have rn just doesn't appeal to the type of games a lot of souls players play imo. I've purchased skate story (fucking 10/10) and bomb rush cyberfunk j

Newly Verified ‘Death Stranding 2’ running at sub 20 frames during combat.
Is anyone surprised? Verified has meant nothing for years. Valve saying they're going to make the restrictions even MORE lax for the Steam Machine honestly has me very concerned what they're gonna let publishers get away with, after watching what they've "verified" for the Deck.

“For parts” Steam Deck
hey OP this is important. i bought a refurbished deck a couple years ago, and it would occasionally die like that and i would rescue it by rebuilding the bios. eventually it stopped being recoverable with a bios rebuild. i bought a bios flashing tool and dumped the bios and used a 'box fresh' bios.

Valve Says It's 'Hard at Work' on Steam Deck 2, but There's Still No Release Window
At same the wattage this is true but the nice thing about the Z2E handhelds is that they often have much larger batteries than the Steam Deck. The Ally X & Xbox ROG Ally X for instance has a 80W battery which is 60% higher than the Steam Deck OLED’s so you can play at a much higher wattage than the

Steam verification has honestly not meant much to me remotely for the past 2 years or so. Especially as the SD has become more and more underpowered for newer harder to run games. I love my steam deck oled but I have tried more than a few “verified” games that just don’t remotely work well on it.

NotebookCheck: "iPhone 17 Air OLED supplier [BOE] to be banned in the US for over 14 years for stealing Samsung trade secrets"
Some of Valve's Steam Deck OLED displays are BOE, so that's unfortunate for them.

I installed the new update to my steam Deck, now it’s been stuck like this for two days. I need help.
Like the other person said OLEDs burn in a lot easier than an LCD, you gotta be careful. They could end up with the steam logo permanently there while they're trying to use the deck, would really suck.

My deck battery is gone
60 is very good, but sadly it is 130, which is very expensive if you ask me. https://www.ifixit.com/en-eu/products/steam-deck-battery EDIT: OLED is for 60, LCD is 130, what the hell
