Newly Verified ‘Death Stranding 2’ running at sub 20 frames during combat.
Is anyone surprised? Verified has meant nothing for years. Valve saying they're going to make the restrictions even MORE lax for the Steam Machine honestly has me very concerned what they're gonna let publishers get away with, after watching what they've "verified" for the Deck.

Steam verification has honestly not meant much to me remotely for the past 2 years or so. Especially as the SD has become more and more underpowered for newer harder to run games. I love my steam deck oled but I have tried more than a few “verified” games that just don’t remotely work well on it.

ASUS ROG Xbox Ally with Ryzen Z2A drops to $499
This is such a weird device because it’s basically steam deck price for steam deck performance with a higher resolution screen but that’s not really an advantage because then you just don’t run games at native resolution because that chip is more going to like 720 than 1080. You get VRR but you lose

switch 2 or steam deck (2?) pros and cons
I own both the Switch 2 and Steam Deck OLED. Both or fantastic, but if I could only recommend one, I’d honestly recommend the Switch 2. It’s younger and you’ll get a lot more dedicated software support for it in the future. In addition to having Nintendo exclusives, a lot of third party cross-platfo

Will the Steam Machine force developers to make games compatible with Linux?
If steam deck couldn’t do it, this won’t. That is, unless valve prices it aggressively and creates a massive user base that companies cannot ignore. Realistically, this won’t happen.

Is game compatibility ok on the Ai+?
Games generally run fine these days but you may run into some quirks with very old titles. For some context, I recently finished KOTOR 1 on my Switch 2 as it has native Widescreen and controller support, but I decided to play the Steam version of KOTOR 2 because it has those things plus I wanted to

Tim broke me
This is the way (or was the way until the crazy price increases). I wiped the Windows bloat off and installed Bazzite. Effectively a Steam DecK OLED 2.

Should I get a Steam Deck or Switch 2
The biggest hurdle to consider the Steam Deck is the option of even getting a Steam Deck OLED at all (major stocking issues, and scalpers are taking advantage). I went with the Switch 2 because of my collection of Switch games (around 85 physical and a couple 20 digital). That and Nintendo first-par

So, how good does the last version of mgs master collection vol 1 run on switch 1?
If you want a portable console just to play MGS1-3, the Vita is still the best option out there, and this is coming from someone who owns a Steam Deck OLED.
