Yum. Same price as official store but free shipping
Honestly I’m confused why so many people one here complain about the shipping and tariff surcharges from Ubiquiti directly, when B&H has free shipping and no surcharges. Just ordered a UDM Pro and AP for exactly MSRP from B&H. If your credit card has a warranty extension benefit for purchases, I don

UNAS 4 - MARCH 2026 - PART II... yeah, theres more. it's the hardware too....
Great in-depth review as I think a write up like this may have had me hold off on my unas2 purchase. However, what this NAS has in lack of features can make up for in what you plan on using it for. (Give and take) My problems with ubiquiti at the moment is that they don't just make a great all aroun

Micro Center is trolling the UI store: No Memory Surcharges
Got the exact combo except I got my UDM SE from Ubiquiti. I ended up spending about $100 more through tarrifs, memory and shipping costs all for a 2 year warranty...bot sure if its worth it.

Black Friday UniFi deals?
Ubiquiti generally do NOT have sales of any kind, including BF. They are sold out a lot so they don't really have to. Last one I can remember is they discounted a weak version of the UDM Pro for a hundred dollars less or so. It's never their hottest products. I guess it doesn't hurt to wait a few we

UDM BEAST for residential?
The UDM Beast is really meant for high density deployments for enterprise environments. Given that the Pro Max can handle 1000 clients already, unless you're coming close to 1000 clients, there's really no reason to go UDM Beast. Even Ubiquiti notes that they put in hyperscaler grade hardware, which

Beast installed, Bottlenecks gone!
OP: So, Ubiquiti should do an UDM Altered Beast model, for half the price.

New Beast (UDM) !
I spoke with someone at Ubiquiti today and got 'unofficial' details that I haven't seen shared yet about the UDM Beast. Priced between $1000 - 2000 (would not share specifics) I have a hard time believing it would be cheaper than the Fortress Gateway since it has the same key SFP28/SFP+ connections

Is this a reasonable quote for a Ubiquiti home setup?
The Express 7 paired with a Dream Machine seems like a waste since the Express 7 basically becomes an access point is adopted to the UDMPro. Also a Pro level switch seems unnecessary, there are other switches that provide PoE+ without the "Pro" L3 features. There are lots of good tutorials, etc... o

Is this a reasonable quote for a Ubiquiti home setup?
I...uhh...hmm. I don't know where you are, and if you're say, in Australia, okay, with the value of their dollar, maybe? However, and I won't crap on the company quoting this, but there are so many red flags there that I cannot but be concerned for you. 'Programming' for $2,000? Even basing it on th

Is this a reasonable quote for a Ubiquiti home setup?
Not sure why they're quoting your a UniFi Express 7 alongside a Dream Machine Pro. The Express 7 is a redundant item with a DMP. If its already setup, new AP and a gateway is all you really need. You'll need a POE switch too, but depending on your setup, the UDM SE may provide enough POE. Overall th
