Almost ready to jump ship...
I started migrating to Ubiquiti. I bought a UNVR, g5 ultra turrets (great camera btw), g5 bullets and a few g4 instants. Expensive, yes. But so much better than my outgoing Nest Outdoor cameras. Google completely ruined Nest and it’s a shame. However I find the UI Protect app to be superior to Nest

Just posted an entire nest kit on marketplace.
I have used and own a lot of ubiquiti over the years. With the latest charge from google, I am planning on getting rid of all the remaining cameras and doorbells. My smoke detectors are still good for a few more years, I still use the thermostat and the hubs. Ubiquiti does cost a lot more then Googl

New to home Security
You might benefit from a dream machine over the cloud gateway. That puts the router and switch management all in one console. That will allow you to monitor and control everything from 1 set of programs instead of trying to get things to work. You might also think about a better switch. What you hav

UNVR-Instant standalone?

What to purchase?
Looks good. Note that you wouldn't need any chimes unless you have a doorbell. I assume that you know that the CloudKey+ is currently on sale from Ubiquiti? The G5 Pro camera is also on sale. It is a better than the G5 Bullet, but is still $70 more per camera with the sale. Also if you were going to

Which NVR
I was looking at the ubiquity stuff - I was thinking of getting the nvr instant and the doorbell along with maybe one G5 bullet for now? What do you recommend? Doesn't work out that much more expensive from what I can see?

Are $50 a piece a good value for these?
They are listed as a Legacy product: "These products have stopped receiving updates and are no longer distributed by Ubiquiti, though they may still be available from third-party sellers. Future software releases may not fully support them." https://help.ui.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500001268521-Ubiqui
