kinda fun to catch wildlife on camera. for night stuff the G5 Pro has really solid infrared and you can add the enhancer for more range. the G5 Bullet works too but the pro handles wooded areas better. i’d put them on a separate vlan so you don't flood your cabin wifi with constant motion alerts.

i feel you on this - ubiquiti door access is more for commercial mag locks, not residential deadbolts. what helped me was just using Yale Assure Lock 2 separately and keeping the G5 Bullet on the porch. you get the video evidence plus a lock that just works. honestly the webhook rigging gets old fas

For the prices Ubiquiti charges they really need to improve the detection algorithms. My G5 bullet likes to identify parked cars in the middle of the night and doorbell lite loves identifying clouds.
