Is Breville a good or bad place to start for a beginner? [$1000]

A dedicated grinder serves a few purposes. infinitely easier to deal with switching beans if that’s something you’re into, especially if you start single dosing vs throwing a pound into the hopper. Even just switching between cafe and decaf is a huge pain in these combo machines. for $300-500 range,

First home espresso + grinder (less important) [$600]

Just gonna say that the grinder is arguably more important of the two though less so if you’re making milk drinks. I’ve got a Gemilai 3007Z (same as the Turin Legato V2 etc) that I got for $450 shipped. My grinder is a df54 that I got in the first wave and it’s been pretty decent for the price besid

Are there any great, cheap chinese espresso machines yet?

Turin Legato V2. Wendougee Data S ($3000, but a killer of any Decent and any Italian machine less than $7000 - has many Italian Swiss components).

Turin Legato V2 Flow Control and PID...upgrade from BBE? [Budget 500$]

I'm a true believer that the turin legato v2 is the best machine you can get for $500. For reference, I used to have one. The flow control isn't true flow control where you can change it mid-shot in order to give your different pressure profiles. You could dimmer mod it to be able to do that pretty

Good beginner setup?[buying advice needed less than $800]

I just got a turin legato v2 and DF54 for a budget beginner setup for around the same cost (both open box for a slight discount) a month ago and am very happy with it

Breville Bambino or Gaggia Classic e24 (don’t care about milk frothing) [$500]

If you don't care about steaming there is literally zero reason to buy a Bambino. A $100 De'Longhi will pull better espresso and last longer than a Bambino. The only real advantages are the super fast heat up time (which if you do any sort of planning and thinking ahead, doesn't matter) and the milk

put together a quick table comparing beginner espresso machines under $300[$300]

Should add the Turin Legato V2/MiiCoffee Apex V2. At this point probably the best option under $600 unless you exclusively make milk drinks and want the auto steam of bambino+.

GCP vs Miicoffee apex V2 vs Lelit Anna [500€]

In the USA---for now--Espresso Outlet is selling the Turin Legato V2 and most folks really applaud the customer service from the seller. I did a great deal of reading on the Gemilai 3007Z where I could find it in use in Asia. This meant looking at youtube videos in other languages (among other sourc

Gemilai Ele In-Depth Review - G3028A

It's a nice machine. I would advise people to get a Gemilai 3007Z (Turin Legato or MiCoffee Apex V2s) So this machine has 1 standout--an accessible flow control knob. The turin Legato you have to use a screw driver The preinfusion on this (presoak) is identical to the Turin Legato V2 ---still lets w

I am never buying a Breville again

A Turin Legato V2/MiiCoffee Apex V2 is $500 and has basically all the features you would mod.
