Good beginner setup?[buying advice needed less than $800]
I just got a turin legato v2 and DF54 for a budget beginner setup for around the same cost (both open box for a slight discount) a month ago and am very happy with it

First home espresso + grinder (less important) [$600]
Just gonna say that the grinder is arguably more important of the two though less so if you’re making milk drinks. I’ve got a Gemilai 3007Z (same as the Turin Legato V2 etc) that I got for $450 shipped. My grinder is a df54 that I got in the first wave and it’s been pretty decent for the price besid

Wife and I are looking for a new espresso machine. She wants ease of use and I want best taste possible, what should we get? [$1000]
I put a switch bot on my Turin Legato V2 --works with Bluetooth app on my phone. I wake every day 4:30 to 5:00 am. Espresso machine is set to on for 4:15. Good to go -- Turin Legato V2 is the same as the Gemilai 3007 Z or MiCoffee Apex V2 with an automatic setting, simple means if you're using the s

First Home Setup, What would you do differently? [$600]
I'd not get that scale. I'd look at other grinders. The Turin Legato V2 is a great machine. You can set and forget or fiddle around. It's very solid.

Downgrading and not sure where to go now [under $1000]
I'm partial, but I'm super happy with my Apex V2/Turin Legato V2. I will say I've never used the steam wand, but it had all the features I really wanted that were only in higher end or modded machines. I've had it for ~18 months and have had zero issues.

Recommendations for a beginner machine [£500-600]
The Bambinos are best for people who want an espresso without (fussing with) a machine, but still having the quality that can't be obtained with a superautomatic. For more control (e.g. temp., pressure), you might want to look at the Lucca Tempo at Clive Coffee. Likewise, the Turin Legato v2.

Recommendations for a beginner machine [£500-600]
The Turin Legato V2 (which has PID) is marketed under multiple names--thus you may find it under a differing name in Europe. I posted the typologies (a few) under my original reply. for the $ and home use--wow (PID, pressure control and accessible flow control if wanted). That said it's not a tank l

Help me step away from the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro [€1000]
The Turin Legato V2 lets you set up one pull volume--it's set by time not volume. You dial in your pull volume on the manual setting , to get your perfect shot--by measuring time and weight on a scale---then you very very easily set time on the automatic unit. I switch between two volumes by simply

Starter Machine - Did I get this right? [€500]
some other details missing from the Turin Legato V2. It has flow control as well as OPV. It came with two steam tips-both work very well. Drip Tray is easy to remove and hasn't been a problem- I release water to heat up the head. I routinely spray the milk steamer before using it and after. I empty

Just ordered a Turin legato v2
I am now about a week or two on the Turin Legato V2. 1) No regrets. 2) first things I did was set OPV. You use the back flow stopper--black thing (rubber) -put it in a basket , put portafilter in and so easy to set. I went with 9 bars. 3) Set water flow (the recessed screw to the left of the portafi
