Yes this is the way. You can get flexible clamp arms to enable you to point the camera in a sensible direction. Also these days the camera will pan/tilt to follow any motion. Just be sure to turn off the infra-red LEDs otherwise they will reflect off the window and you just get glare. Edit: Tapo C20
