AirPlay woes with new Deco setup

I finally got fed up of ISP provided WiFi gear and treated our household to a new setup. After doing some research I opted for the Deco XE75 Pro kit with three nodes.

Since I run an OpenWRT router, I configured the Decos in AP mode. Each node is connected to the router via gigabit Ethernet and the

ISP modem - router - mesh AP setup

Good afternoon!

I am currently stuck in the following situation:

  • I have a modem/router from my ISP, but config options are obviously very limited, so have this in bridge mode
  • I have TP Link Deco XE75's as mesh after the modem, in router mode

This setup is way more stable than if I put the modem in

Would a Ubiquiti AP help solve my jitter problem?

Hi, I’ve been trying to reduce my jitter on my home network. The goal is to stream games on the same network. My desktop is ethernet into my ultra cloud gateway with very good jitter on gigabit fiber. The issue comes when I use 5G WiFi on my personal laptop. Streaming is very laggy. I’m using Deco X

Deco XE75 Pro & Powerline Adapter

I tried out my Deco XE75 Pro last week. I set it up which was pretty simple and straight forward, a few hiccups. I get all three units set up and running, all have connections. My setup 1 one each floor. Modem and initial Deco is on the 1st/bottom floor, giving me about 750 mbps. Second unit on the

Router Recommendations for AirLink

Looking at getting a new router, though I’m torn on a few things.

I like the TP-Link Deco XE75 for a multi-floor townhouse style apartment. But I keep seeing negative things about mesh networks and VR streaming, but a lot of what I’ve read is from 7+ months ago. Are the issues fixed?

The TP-Link A

Looking for a router upgrade over my Asus AX55, preferably wifi6e. Cheap used P-Link Deco XE75 or new TP-link AXE75? Is 6ghz really worth it over my current wifi5e router?

Question is in the title basically. I have 2 AX55 routers, not in mesh as they were horrible that way. I do have 2 router set up in 2 different rooms, so i can play in my gaming room, or under my AC in the licing room, when no1 is around. Both are wired. My main gaming room's AX55 router does the ro

Best Mesh Router to upgrade to get 600mbps+ Wifi speed? - currently Deco M5

Speed test results as above, 350mbps on wifi 5ghz in the next room, 500mbps is max right next to the Deco M5 and above 900mbps ethernet.. I was originally going to buy the 2 Deco XE75 but ended up getting 2 refurbed Deco M5 for very cheap. Are there any alternatives that can reach 600Mbps or 800Mbps

I'll ask this question here.

EDIT: I live in in the Northeast, currently Xfinity can't legally cap the data here. So even if I get rid of the XB7, I thankfully don't have to worry about caps. At least not yet.

I'm realizing this is a Ubiquiti specific sub. I'm sure users in here go from home prosumer through professionals
