The Deco M5 is cheaper but will likely need to be replaced sooner. There are affordable options that are newer than those and will last them longer.

I have the X55 mesh system with 3 nodes, all on hardwire backhaul to the main unit (4 total units) and have the exact same problem. I have a scheduled reboot every morning between 2-4 AM but the it doesn't seem to fix it, but the network optimization typically does. I can see the slowness building.
