Deco ethernet backhaul megathread
After trial and error leading me to here, I found the route cause of my Deco random disconnections that have been occurring for years. These switches from TP-Link do NOT work, Initially tried with Deco S7 also tried with BE63 & X55 Pro TP-Link 8-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch (TL-SG1008D) TP-Link 5-Por

AP7, iPhone and WiFi 6e toggle question
I’ve had the same issue with Deco BE63’s and was hoping to swap to AP7s for stability. I did something similar, except I isolated the 6 GHz band to its own SSID. So either both Deco and AP7 have issue with iPhone 16 and 6Ghz or iPhone has a bad implementation.

My new favorite wifi camera.
My only complaint with my Tapo C120's is that even with a relatively nice TP-Link Deco BE63 WiFi 7 tripple base mesh system (supposedly capable of supporting 200 devices), the cams absolutely saturate the wifi. I have a total of 9 cameras and I've disabled all detection on them, no SD cards so they

Any good experiences with Orbi WiFi 7 mesh systems?
I tried the Deco BE63 and BE65 Pro, both were giving me trouble. Multiple devices were not able to connect to it, giving authentication errors. These devices when brought closer to the router connected. So something with being far away but still within good signal. My Nest Wifi Pro, 6E router had no

Worth upgrading to WiFi 7?
I have tried both the Deco BE63 and now trying Asus BT10 and both have been a pretty terrible experience with random disconnects all the time on my pixel and sometimes never reconnects without restarting my phone. I am not sure if it's a pixel issue or wifi 7 as I seem to have few if any issues on m

Connection Issues with new Router
Were you ever able to resolve this? I just upgraded to a TP-Link BE63 system and am encountering the same issue. I think it's the only device in our house that is unable to connect to the new system.

“Video unable to stream…”
I mean when 2 different hardwares are “locking up” it’s clear there’s a problem somewhere in the network. I also have a deco mesh system. 3x BE63’s. If you have the home shield stuff I’d take a look to see if it’s blocking ports and take a look at the main routers firewall. If 2 different hardwares

Hey, what's that noise...?
Fios > BE63 as my main > 2 XE75 Pros. The BE63 is really close to my Wyze Cams. I've switched the Deco settings for the cams to 2.4GHz preferred, connect to the BE63 only, and mesh technology OFF. All that helped a little, but it's still not great. I just think the cameras/app aren't very good. You

Some days I just want to throw my decos out!!
Decos are hit or miss but they really need to change there marketing about all decos being compatible while it’s sort of true the slowest deco will slow down the network significantly. So 3 BE63’s and one let’s say deco XE75 the BE63’s will be limited wirelessly by the slower XE75

Deco BE25-Outdoor (BE5000) thoughts?
I picked one up and it needs work as the firmware on it is just the initial release. I ended up taking it offline as it was wreaking havoc with my deco BE63’s and ring cameras did not like the BE25 outdoor at all. They kept going offline I tried both wireless and wired backhaul and it was problemati
