Aimesh vs different brands access point
AI Mesh didn't work for me when I tried it with a GT-AXE16000 and RT-AX57Go. I had the bands split on the Gt-AXE16000 and instead of using the same SSID for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands as was being used for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 1 band on the GT-AXE16000, it just used the 2.4 GHz band SSID for both

2GB/s Ports on Mesh? - Just got 2GB Fiber
If you have time, monitor eBay for BE63 (BE10000) or BE65 (BE11000)These have 4x2.5G ports. Sometimes they pop up for $300 per set of 3. If you buy only one, you can make it the main Deco.

Long time issues… New Router?
Don't worry about the US ban on foreign-produced consumer routers. There are no routers produced entirely in the USA, even US-based companies all have all or some of their major components made overseas. And the ban only affects approvals of new models, not currently-approved models. It will take ye

Router / AP recommendations for house
Depends on your budget and internet speed. As an other poster said you’d want one AP per floor. Get a 3 pack of TP Link deco- X55 or X75 would be fine or if you want more future proof then BE63 or similar. Should be in the 200-500 euro range. Omada and Unifi are better solutions, require a bit more

I am getting slow speeds with TP Link Deco BE63
You should have the BE63 nodes in mesh wifi router mode, which uses the mesh for your router. You could also use the mesh in AP mode, but it sounds like there's something wrong with your IP Passthrough setup. I have an AT&T gateway here in IP Passthrough mode connected to an Asus BT10 mesh, and it w

Deco Heatmap Limited Early Access - Share Your Thoughts!
How about a firmware update for the Deco BE63. Last one was 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43949 I’ll seriously think long and hard regarding vendors when it’s time to upgrade.

Full Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Setup with Deco BE25 - 2.5Gbps Ethernet Backhaul & MLO vs Wi-Fi 6E?
I'm from the US so I can't speak for the used market in Italy. In the US, I usually wait for holiday deals. I got my deco be63 on 1/1 from the TP link US store, 2 pack + 2 smart light bulb for $269. The regular price for a 2 pack be63 is around $300 after tax. As for connection problems, there are m

Deco release dates
That also depends on your Internet speed. Say if you have less than 2.5Gbps and not planning to upgrade within the next five years or so, then a deco be63 would be enough. The be63 has four 2.5Gbps ports can able to support up to wifi 7. If you have 5Gbps or faster Internet speed, then you would wan

Which is better? Tp link, netgear, drink
I like Tp-Link systems for the best bang for the buck. Other than that, they're not the best. They certainly don't handle a huge amount of clients well. We have the deco BE63, which mostly works fine, I think the devices that have problems with it mainly have problems due to having rudimentary Wi-Fi

Phone disconnects from BE63
I know you can mix & match different Deco units but in my experience it leads to too many issues. I recommend repurposing or selling off the M5's and getting more BE63's. Other Mesh systems don't let you mix & match different model numbers like Deco does, and it's probably for good reason. By the wa
