Did I just buy two separate systems? BE15000 and Deco BE1100/BE65 Pro

Never had that experience with Deco. We are running four BE63s. AI mesh just has random issues where it won't sync all of your SSID settings over to the node and it's overall just a really clunky interface. I don't like it. If you get one of those ZenWi-Fi packs, you'll probably be fine. But don't e

My new favorite wifi camera.

My only complaint with my Tapo C120's is that even with a relatively nice TP-Link Deco BE63 WiFi 7 tripple base mesh system (supposedly capable of supporting 200 devices), the cams absolutely saturate the wifi. I have a total of 9 cameras and I've disabled all detection on them, no SD cards so they

Hey, what's that noise...?

Fios > BE63 as my main > 2 XE75 Pros. The BE63 is really close to my Wyze Cams. I've switched the Deco settings for the cams to 2.4GHz preferred, connect to the BE63 only, and mesh technology OFF. All that helped a little, but it's still not great. I just think the cameras/app aren't very good. You

Deco BE25-Outdoor (BE5000) thoughts?

I picked one up and it needs work as the firmware on it is just the initial release. I ended up taking it offline as it was wreaking havoc with my deco BE63’s and ring cameras did not like the BE25 outdoor at all. They kept going offline I tried both wireless and wired backhaul and it was problemati

XE70 Pro upgrade experience

Using 3-be63 with 2-be25 decos...I can confirm that beamforming / fast roaming causes issues with your network. For several weeks as I tried various combinations (extra be63, xe75), I was getting disconnects and complete internet outage multiple times a day. Once I turned off beam forming...ZERO ISS

IDS issue with Nginx Proxy Manager

I found this thread after a long search for an answer. I recently bought a UDM Pro after having run a TP-Link Deco BE63 mesh wifi system. I'm starting to build my home lab. I was successfully running a Cloudflare tunnel using the cloudflared daemon in a docker container. I also ran Nginx with no iss

Can't run Ethernet - is Ubiquiti setup still worth it for wireless mesh?

Only the expensive consumer mesh systems have dedicated band for wireless backhaul, not the Deco BE63. You will be better off with non ubiquiti mesh systems in case of wireless backhaul.

Screen reader accessibility of the Ubiquity UniFi iOS app and web interface

I’m returning the TP Link BE63 in grabbing a Ubiquity Dream Router 7. Going to start with just the router and see how it covers the house. I’m only in 1200 ft.² so it should be fine. I experienced a lot of annoying issues with the Deco. There is a years old known issue with video conferencing with p

BE63s and Firewalla Gold Plus

Thanks for your feedback, I was thinking along those lines as well! I appreciate you. I guess I am just bummed I may lose some surveillance features or data points in my deco app if I stopped be63 routing duties. There shouldn’t be any effect on my wired backhaul from my BE63 “main” to one of the po
