Archer BE400

I use a TP link BE400 with plusnet (FTTP/full fibre) , other routers will also work just as well and possibly better. I don’t live in India, i am located in USA, however be400 is a solid choice but hear me out, tp link suffers in software issues, lack of updates and they take forever to release one. You will enjoy it but be prepared to deal with it.

True that. I bought the TP-Link Archer BE400 Wi-Fi 7 router, and the experience has been next-level. I turned off Wi-Fi on the Airtel router, used it only as a modem, and connected the TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 router for internet transmission. Since then, I haven’t faced any latency or speed issues at all.

I recently upgraded to the 1 Gbps plan and forced Airtel to replace my old Wi-Fi 4 router with a Wi-Fi 6 one (Nokia AOT4221NK). It works fine, but many settings are locked on the admin page. So if you’re looking for a router with full control and unlocked features, you’re better off getting your own

Since I already have postpaid and a few other Airtel plans, it came to around ₹1500 for 15 days, which is normal for me. I’m also planning to buy the TP-Link Archer BE400 6500 Mbps Wi-Fi 7 Gigabit Router in this BBD sale.

Do you think it’s a good idea to buy a separate router despite already paying a premium price to Airtel? 😅 But thanks for sharing the steps, if Airtel still refuses to replace it, I’ll probably go for the TP-Link BE400.

Just get a better wifi router and stop using the default one as after using TP-Link Archer BE400 I am getting far better gameplay both online and offline on portal and connection is much more stable. I just stopped using the default modem or wifi router that comes with a normal internet connection .
